Neweraprogress reports Amherst County High School students will build a Habitat for Humanity modular house at the school in Amherst, Virginia and site it in Madison Heights, just outside Lynchburg. Funded by grants, the more experienced students will instruct the newer ones in producing the two modules under the watchful eye of building trades teacher Roy Prior. Noting the involvement of many disciplines, he says the agriculture students will help with landscaping, the arts students with painting, and the building trades students with design. As MHProNews has learned, the house will take five months to complete. Prior says, ?One of the best things I can do for them is to help them accomplish something positive and be proud of it.?
