Insurance Agent Speaks To Rotary About Flood Protection ...

Local State Farm Agent and Cranford resident Denis Dankosky addressed the Cranford Rotary Club on July 19, providing key suggestions on how best to protect against the damages of flood and sewer back-up.

Dankosky advised that all homeowners are eligible to obtain flood insurance, including those who are not deemed to be in a flood zone and those who
are not required to maintain flood insurance by their mortgagor. He also suggested that all homeowners purchase coverage for back-up of sewers and drains available through their Homeowners Insurance company.

Dankosky has been a State Farm agent in Cranford for 23 years. His office is located at 105 Miln St. in Cranford. Dankosky has been active in the Cranford community through the Cranford Jaycees and other civic organizations.

The Rotary Club of Cranford has been in existence since 1923 and currently has 30 active members who serve the Cranford community through service projects, sponsorships and awarding of scholarships.
